QA Project Manager Connecticut Yankee, Millstone 2 & 3, NES 1991-97
I was responsible for managing a Q-List and Bills of Material project for Northeast Utilities. This project involved hiring and staffing a team of engineers and technicians to perform a comprehensive review and verification of plant equipment and configuration, reviewing all applicable drawings and identifying discrepancies, building a data base of QA component classifications, contacting vendors to identify spare parts and recommending stocking levels. Ensured compliance with contractual requirements and acted as communication liaison between the NES corporate office and the client.
QA Specialist Savannah River Project, Gilbert Commonwealth Engineering 1989-91
At this Department of Energy site I performed program and procedure development for the Spare Parts Engineering Evaluation Program. Reviewed work control packages for compliance to site procedures and QA criteria. Developed inspection plans and performed field verification of maintenance and plant modification activities.
QA Engineer Wisconsin Electric- NEC 1986-89
Assigned to the corporate QA department in Milwaukee developing a Q-List for the Point Beach Nuclear Power Facility. This entailed assigning a quality classification to all plant components after review of drawings, licensing documents (FSAR, Tech Specs) and other commitments.
Participated as a member of an audit team performing an SSFI Audit at the 3 Mile Island Nuclear Facility. During this audit I was responsible for assuring mechanical equipment/system was consistent with original design basis . Performed system walkdowns, reviewed design changes and system performance parameters.
QA Inspector/Analyst Perry NPP Comstock Engineering, Seabrook & Beaver Valley Unit II UESC 1984-86
During this time I worked in various QA departments performing field verification and document review for area package development and turnover in support of startup activities. This included review of inspection reports, drawings, and resolution of document discrepancies.
QA Engineer Seabrook NPP, United Engineers & Constructors 1983-84
Performed surveillances and audits of site engineering and construction activities for compliance to site procedures, 10 CFR-50 App B and other licensing commitments. I was responsible for responding to NRC audit findings (“Blue Sheetsâ€) identifying root causes and corrective action plans. Member of the procedure review board where I participated in the revision of site procedures to ensure compliance with the QA program.

Performed field verifications and vendor surveillance activities during an extended steam generator sleeving outage.
